Re: i hate seafoam!!
Might have had a lot of crud in your intake manifold or oil the may have been from a leaky valve seal. Probably got washed into the cylinder and got on your plugs. It can happen.

Re: i hate seafoam!!
you dont have to change your oil and plugs afterwards at least I never have and have NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS I just drive the $hit out of my car afterwards. Your supposed to let it set for 10 - 15 min then go for a hard drive.

Re: i hate seafoam!!
you HAVE to change your oil after using seafoam. seafoam dilutes your oil making it worthless since it will not lubricate moving parts. thats why you change your oil after using seafoam

Re: i hate seafoam!!
you DO NOT have to change your oil if you put it in through the brake booster line. if you put it in the crank case yes. but you should change your plugs after you run it through your brake booster line

Re: i hate seafoam!!
I think the proper way is to use 1/3 in the crankcase 1/3 in the brake booster and 1/3 in the gas tank. Run car hard then change oil and plugs. I did that with my civic and it ran a lot smoother after that.

Re: i hate seafoam!!
Shouldn't have caused bad coil. Coincidence I guess.
And seriously, NGK V-powers are like $8 for all 4, so who cares. Buy the new plugs and rest knowing you have brand new spark plugs and won't have to replace them for longer.

Re: i hate seafoam!!
What line did you use to put it in? Did you also do the crankcase and the gas tank?
I did mine this summer with about 100000 miles and had no problems, made it idle a ish ton smoother.

Re: i hate seafoam!!
seafoam is supposed to clean carbon build up from your engine, intake mani and exhaust mani. but while doing so, it dilutes your oil. read the link to the thread that i posted. they explain there what happens
