Default I Hate My Honda

I had a/c problem awhile a go https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1570921
Ends up being the climate control itself. I put a new one in bam it works a/c works fine. But now my radio doesn’t and my clock is really dim and even dimmer with head lights on. Funny thing is the clock resets itself when I turn of the car and turn it back on. You know when the car is off and you can push the clock and it will light up? Well it does do that any more. But if the car is on and I push the button it lights up bright. Checked fuses fine under dash and behind radio.....look at all wire connections ...fine....... the cigarette lighter works and the little light in the coin holder works .............I’m lost

So you hate your honda because a fuse blew? You would really hate other brands...

Yeah, well it used to be the other way around, all my money went to my girlfriends and the civic got left in the dark.

I broke up with my gf last week and have already bought a t3 turbo, downpipe, log manifold, 450cc dsm injectors, dsm bov, intercooler, piping, clamps, obd2-obd1 harness...think that's it.

Damn females.

Hey OP.....this site is trolled by thieves....now these thieves have a expletive PARTS LIST to your car...now if they can get your location or general area...and if your parts are desirable...bingo...you're screwed. I personally don't list anything about my car. Some do and have no issues...go figure

so anybody wanna answer my question on that backup fuse? I know it sounds noob, I just don't believe I"ve heard of it (or heard of it referred to in that sense) -- and I googled it, it's too wide of a fuse to narrow down to what it does in this situation..

I understand your frustration. To fix one problem only to make two more problems will quickly make you run out of patience.
