Default I got a Helm's Manual in today.

I must say that I'm simply overwhelmed by the amount of information in here. Screw all that download crap and simply go buy one for less than the cost of two crappy eBay intakes. Mine was 63 shipped, best money ever spent on my car. The thing is phonebook size (broken into two smaller manuals) and has very detailed and easy to follow illustrations (as opposed to blurry sloppy Chilton's- in my experience atleast). Flipping through this thing makes me feel as if I know very little.

Best $60 you could spend on your car.

It's in TOS violation to give the link because of the publishers demands. But it didn't say I couldn't print the TOS out

1.F. Links to online Helms (shop) manuals are not to be posted. The publishers have asked that users refrain from posting the links on a public messageboard. If absolutely necessary, keep it in instant messages. The book is well over 1000 pages, and is only $62 from helm

Is it really worth the money when you can find most of the info here on H-T?

I have a Haynes and it sucks bad... how is the Helm manual better than haynes? I've never seen a Helm before...

P.S. If someone has the link can they PM is to me? Hehe

I think it's only TOS violation if he gives and illegal link.

I just ordered the CD off ebay so I can print the pages off. The best $10 I've spent on my car so far!

Just buy the CD, it's only $10. I'm pretty sure the illegal links have been shutdown. The manual is the actual dealership service repair manual.

I would eventually like to get a Helm's but I found the Chiltons or Haynes or whatever to be better than nothing at all. I used it pretty easily. The only reason I didnt like them is that they had the 96-00 civic, crv and integra all in one book

Book > cd, unless of course you happen to keep a computer with a printer loaded with a full pad of paper next to/in your car.

Helm's is what the dealership uses. It breaks the entire car down piece by piece. Only thing I don't like is the fact there are no part numbers or specs on the harware such as nute, bolts, screws, etc......

Usually car work is done in the garage... so it doesn't matter where the book is. I can take it to Kinko's and have them print it out for me.

It's worth it, saves time panning through search results, it kicks *** on Hayne's Chilton's. Mine is tailored for the 1994 del Sol, not much changed year to year but it's nice that I know it's exactly on. It's true that there are no part numbers but I could take it in to Honda and point to something in a diagram and they'll get it for me (atleast at my dealer). I'd just shell out the 60, I know everyone likes to save money but for something as important and relatively inexpensive as this, give credit where it's due. I'd pay a couple hundred for this thing if I had too.
