Default i feel completly dumb

this prolly isn't the right place to post this but i do have a 94 civic so it should go with this but anyways i feel like a complete dumbass. I just finished doing my engine swap and got all the fluids in there got it running and everything. Well i was soo happy since it has been awhile for me not to drive the car. I tried to put it in gear and it wouldn't.

The problem was the clutch;it needed bleed more. So i did that took the cap off and pumped the clutch till it got stiff. This is where i did the dumbass move by taking off in first without putting the cap back on then i stopped the car and got out of it to pick up my tools and put them in the garage. I COMPLETELY forgot about the damn cap.

I drove down the road about 3/4 of a mile and hear a thump sound. It was my clutch it had no pressure since the cap wasn't there so i have to go pick up a cap tomorrow from the junkyard, but yes i felt and still feel like a complete idiot. Please no flaming i just thought i'd put it on here for a lesson to all that happen to do this ****. Man i feel like a dumbass lol

Honestly, I would have left it had it not been for this
