i ex and si?

Default i ex and si?

what if any is the diff. between 92-95 ex and si tranny's? my friend thinks they are exactly the same, i think they are different gearing, if there isn't any difference what was the difference on the cars them selves? cuz werent' the motors exactly the same? so what did you get on the si that was different on the ex?
i need to know about the tranny cuz i need a new one for a zc swap and if the ex is the same then ill just buy that

my understanding is that the engine/trannies were the same. The SI was a hatch, had 4-wheel disc brakes and probably a few other goddies

nope, they're exactly the same. the SI was basically an EX but in a hatch form and a bit lighter w/sport suspension. it also didn't come with power windows or lock. only power mirrors. hope that helps.

The ex has a longer 5th gear. Better for highway cruising.

yeah i forgot the ex has a slightly longer 5th gear. here ya go..some info:

EX/Si
1st-----3.250
2nd-----1.900
3rd-----1.250
4th-----0.909
5th-----0.750 for Si HB and Del sol Si
or------0.702 for 2 dr or 4 dr sedan
Final Drive---4.250
