it all started when i was pulling out of my drive way and lost the brake pedal...after a few pumps it came back and seemed fine but the next day it did the same thing..so i noticed that the master was leaking and replaced it along with the booster...and while i was at it i changed the proportioning valve b.c i did the rear disc conversion a while back and never changed it to the si valve...the car is a 97 dx coupe.....but now after i installed everything and bled the brakes i took it for a ride and now all 4 wheels are locked??? like all 4 calipers are seized....should i have not changed the proportioning valve or is something else up?......i also have a boost creep problem that i cant find maybe this is related?(b18b turbo)...........please if anyone has any input that can help me b.c im not sure where to start now???

Have you tried to rebleed the entire system. Also, make sure you do it in the correct order.

havent tryed to rebleed the system yet and i did it in the correct order :/

you sure all four wheels locked? i dotn even think that is possible.

is the pedal spongy still or did that issue go away?

No the pedal feels great...maybe too good...I took the car for a ride and I could smell the brake pads cooking...I went home and jacked the car up n tried to spin each wheel and all 4 were seized

is the car struggling to move?

with each wheel "locked" try opening the bleeder. you will be looking for a release of brake fluid squirting out. the brakes can only stick due to three causes..

either the brackets arent lubed and are frozen. remove and install brake lube (or antiseize if you must)

the caliper is seized.. replace caliper

or brake fluid is pushing on the caliper....release brake fluid with bleeder.

i would assume somethign is wrogn on the master cylinder side engaging all your brakes. it would have to be close to the push-rod area.

sry about the late update...i havent had time to try to fix the car but anyway...i found the cause of all 4 wheels seizing up ......the check valve in the vacuum line to the brake booster was sticking my theory is that when i was hitting boost the pressure was getting trapped in the brake booster causing the pedal to be rock solid and keeping pressure applied to the brakes...i changed the valve and the brakes didnt stick anymore but still went to the floor... soo i replaced the rear calipers...and still nothing then i replaced the front calipers and they pedal hasnt gone to the floor but is still low on the floor....im going to try rebleeding more tomorrow and take it for another ride hopefully its fixed the only thing thats not new is the lines!

i was thinking that the front calipers were maybe worn and when i was backing out of my driveway and turning the wheel somehow the piston was getting pushed in or stuck...idk i cant make much sense of it but it seems to have fixed the pedal going to the floor

today i bled the brakes more and some air came out but and the pedal still hasnt gone to the floor but the front brakes are siezing up after gettting hot...and when i let them cool off i can roll the car again? idk whats goin on with them!

if you put new pads (loaded caliper possibly? since you bought new frotn calipers ) on the first couple of stops will smoke. dotn confuse this with sticking front calipers. or even if your greasy paws were to touch the rotors.

how are you bleeding? i found the best method for home with lack of tools is to just crack open the bleeders and just watch the resovoir. they should drip when ready.

how hot are they getting?.. its normal to easially be 200 plus with a bunch of quick stops and 200 is enough to burn off the grease/lube/fingerprints/first friction material

take the rotor off and see if the pins are moving by moving caliper back and forth, this may not be the cause because u said it was all 4 wheels, but i got one wheel seezed and that was my problem

everything is new in the brake system besides the brake lines...the most recent ride i took only the front brakes locked up...the rotors are blue from the heat..? the lines look good ..but maybe something is kinked some where idk im pretty stumped ????????

removed and replaced brake lines and still same problem!!!!!

figured it out!!!! the f**kin wishbones were backwards and when i turned the wheel the whishbones were pushing on the calipers
