Default I didn't think it could be done....d16head/d17block in an eg

I never thought this could be done...the pics look real enough..and he is selling the car..so he can't falsify what he is selling..otherwise upon inspection the car won't match the pics...notice..the oil dip stick is in the back..same as the d17 motor

wow.. but 8000 RPM On the stock cam?

The stock D16Z6 cam doesn't make power past like 7200 does it? Just wondering, not doubting it. Nice times though, for just having bolt ons on that combo.. high 14s.. thats good

anybody else have any opinions on this setup? i remember many people asking about interchanging d16 an d17 parts and getting flamed for it...

Its in a hatch...makes sense i think..for 140 to the ground...the trap speed is kinda high though..i would expect like a 90mph trap

anyone else know about this hybrid head and block swap? dose the head directly bolt on ? are all the oil passages the same?

I know of someone that has the D17 crank in a d16...but not that type of swap.
