i changed my knock sensor and still getting issuea
I am getting a check engine light when driving over 2500 rpm aprox. getting code 23. I replace the broken (plastic ripped of the metal part) original one with an eBay part. I connected everything and i am still getting the code. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? i really don want to take it out again. Not a funny job for such a little thing. Thanks!

Re: i changed my knock sensor and still getting issuea
I checked the cable that goes from the sensor conector to the ecu and the cable is fine. I broke apart the original sensor and found out its kind of a diafraghm that if you move it, it will generate some volts.
When I threw in the new sensor (ebay cheap one about 10 bucks) I think I overtighten it and I think I might got that diafraghm locked since the thread part is a bit longer now .
I guess Ill have to buy a better one. Funny thing is the original one will lock into the head right away but this one kept on turning when tighten it, but I did not realized I was wrapping it up. Just to let you know guys, DO NOT BUY THOSE CHEAP EBAY ONES IF YOU EVER HAVE TO REPLACE IT.
