Looks like a knock sensor to me. It may be the oil pressure sensor as well with its positioning. Either way super gluing won't work, you need a new sensor.

If it's for the car in your avatar, then it's the knock sensor. Ask for one on H-T here...I'm sure someone has on laying around and will sell for next to nothing.

yo ED wats up? its a knock sensor. do you have a d series or a b series in your car? you need to get an open ended wrench or get a socket big enough to fit on it and just unbolt it. I got one sitting in my garage but im in WV right now

isn't the knock sensor on the side of the engine? Wouldn't this be the oil pressure sensor?

In the middle on the back of the engine looking at it from the front of the car, correct?

No. It's the knock sensor.

You can tell it is the knock sensor cause it is above the water tube and the oil pressure sensor is right by the oil filter both of which are on the back of the block. I dont know you have a chip or anything on your computer but most chip programs dont look at the knock sensor so replacment is not needed if that is the case.

Im pretty sure its the knock sensor, its come off with a wrech, like a bolt. Notice how it looks like a bolt where it meets the block. It is in your best interest to replace it too, some may say you dont need too, but the knock sensor helps adjust ignition timing.

If you run a car without a knock sensor your engine/ecu won't know when you start pinging/preigniting under load, it won't make necessary adjustments and your engine will eventually become seriously damaged (CEL should come on meanwhile). Ask me how I know (it involved zero compression on one cylinder).
