Default I broke my mounts last night.

I have an ls in my hatch and last night i was at the track 1st run..i reved about 4500 and green light hit and i launched and i felt the worse feeling when it seemed like my engine just hit the ground and my shifter jerked way back.. i was trippin.. so i stop and then go slowly down the track and turn off at the half way point.. everytime i hit the gas my whole shifter would move by itself.. i heard something metal hit the ground got out and searched for it .. couldnt find it.. drove further and heard something else metal hit the ground got out it was a Bolt big thick important looking bolt. anyways i went back later and searched and found the other bolt took a flashlight to my car and see that the drivers motor mount is broke. and in the rear the bolt that actually goes in the tranny through the bracket broke the tranny housing and u can see the thread were the bolt previously was.. this sucks...

i m really looking for ideas on how to fix this problem and preventitave measures on how to keep motor mounts from breaking.. this is the second time the drivers side mount has broken both times after being at the track...

HELP RACE GURU'S... IM HURTING RIGHT NOW.

Sorry to hear about your trouble,...bolts should not break like that. Make sure you use new oem bolts.

oem bolts, and better mounts

even on a stock LS.. they shouldn't be spittin out mounts like you say.. but, you might want to think about investing some money in some good aftermarket mounts.. AVID for the tite wads.. and hasport for the billet bling bling mounts.

yea ima go with the hasport mount. its not the actual bolt that broke but the bolt broke through the actual casing.. for the tranny... say like the bolt surrounded by the casing were it enters the tranny actually broke str8 through that part of the tranny.. so im hopping i dont have to get a new tranny casing i no that will be a royal pain in the be hind.

well.. honestly, if it was only 1, i think you could get by without putting a bolt in it.. mine has 3 on my SOHC turbo.. its been soo long since ive seen a B series, but could prolly go without it.. make sure you didnt' crack the case, and now you got a leak though.
