Default I Beams in d16a6 block

Do you or do you not have to notch the block when using I beams?

The company usually states if they do or not. Your question is very vast with no details. That's most likely the reason for lack of input.

my question is not vague i am guessing no one uses these at all. most people think that using h beams you'll have the best which is true, but that is over kill on a d series motor. unless you are one of the elite that are getting the hallowed 500+ out of their motor. i was hoping there was at least ONE person here that uses a d series motor and has used i beams. i have a d16a6 block can you use i beams without notching the block. that is all the info anyone should need. i am not trying to be rude, i am sorry if i am, i can't seem to get an answer. i just get these million plus posters that still know nothing.

Well it's is vague, you are not listing a specific manufacturers I beam rod. I beam is not a brand it's a style of rod.
