I am really new to everything......are the older integ rims light....how light???
are they that light, because they are only six inches wide....doesn't that suck for cornering???
also, does anyone scrape in an eg hatch with 7 inches wide????

No, they are not "that light." I don't have the link here at work, but there is a site that gives you all the weights of most wheels. Integra wheels are about average weight. I want to say 17lbs from memory, but that's probably off. Integra (GSR) wheels are popular because of look, and style, not weight.
As for cornering, you can mount 205s on Integra GSR wheels. That's about as much grip as you want on an Integra IMO. Anything wider is too much rubber, and slow the car down. Plus, a narrower rim will give you better rim protection. You DON'T want the rim expose where the curb can damage it.
As for 7" on a Civic. Yes, I had that. I had no problems cause it was 35mm offset even when lowered 1.75. But the wheel look "too stick out" for my taste, so I went with 6.5" wide instead
