Hey guys I am buying this car from a friend. He was driving from Colorado Today. He was going about 40 mph and hit black ice and then slid into the wall. He did some damage to the right rear quarter panel, light and bumper. I am wondering how much it will cost for the quarter panel to be repaired here. This is the only part that is damaged.

I NEED, not want but Need an answer soon since I need to make a decision to buy the car. They might get it repaired or sell it to me for cheaper.

Do you think less then 1k? And is that just for the quarter panel? Or all?

bumper replace and paint 300, metal piece under tail light plus paint 80+, fix quarter (pull out on chassis puller + bondo + paint and fade into rest of paint) 300+, tail light i suggest ebay. can't really see what else is messed up.

the quater looks saveable.
i would think 1000-1500 i would get the parts and put on your self to save some$
do you have any pics of inside trunk? or in the light?

Yeah the trunk isn't dented at all. I think everything is cosmetic. They already have new lights so all the need is a new bumper and fix the quater

Take it to a body shop. I hear they do this sort of thing for a living.

id say little less than a G.. there mite be more damage but 1 picture isnt really going to cut it.

Yeah he took that on the side of the road right after it happened. I am going to get a loan tomorrow i hope it isn't that bad
