Default Hydrolocked my engine a little bit.

Okay, I drove through a puddle.. a big one and i have a short ram intake.

After the puddle i gave it a little gas, my car would start to shake.. .kinda like stalling out but it didnt(mayba a cylinder or two is misfiring). I pulled over and turned off my car. I checked the intake, the filter was wet but not the inside.

I drove home after drying my filter and it would just shake and stutter through all the gears but after about 10 miles it started to run perfect but then after a mile of running okay it started shaking and stuttering but less than before.

I am going to wait till it stops raining to check the plugs.

Oh yeah. i read in the archives b/c i SEARCHED.. that turning the car over w/ plugs in that its very bad.

Any suggestions.

Thanks in adance.

How the hell did you hydrolock an engine with a short-ram intake? Let me guess, you don't have any fender liners because it's m4d tYt3 JDM?

Pull the spark plugs and check for any moisture deposits.

yep no fender liners.. but not b/c what you wrote..lol. I bought the car like that.

-I just checked the spark plugs and there was absolutely no moisture.

-After I drove my CEL started flashing at me.

-I just checked the CEL numbers and its 71-74. Misfiring throught cylinders 1-4.. =[.

-Anyways, I reset the CELs and drove around a little bit and it was driving pretty fine.. just a small stutter here and there but no CELS came back up.

What you guys think.

Sorry about all the typing.. I just LOVE TYPING.. its m4d tYt3 JDM

1). You cannot "Hydrolock" and enigne "a little bit".
2). You most likely got water in the dist, NOT in the engine. I would put money on that.

I know.. hydrolocking an engine is HYDROlocking it.. but I think that was the best description.

-It seems like the dizzy is drying itself out... should I just let it ride or what...

I would pull the cap and blow out any moisture with compressed air. Clean the contacts while you are in there. Also, pull the wire boots off the cap and inspect them for moisture also. I would recommend some dielectric grease inside the terminals for the wires on the cap also.
