--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I have a 95 civic coupe and well when i purchased the car it had the lower CAI on it.. and well we had a problem a while back with the splash guards so we took them off... It rained pretty hard the other day and i was driving.. and came to a huge puddle.. i had traffic beside me and a guy riding my *** and soo i couldnt slam on breaks... i went thru the puddle and the car shuts off.. no noises.. it just dies.. we try to start it back and... nothing it wont turn over no noises nothing... pull the intake off and water pours out... at this point im a wreck we tow it to the house and take the spark plugs and wires off look in the tubes and theres water... so i take the fuel pump fuse out and turn over and the damn tubes shoot out water like a fountain.. i do this until it doesnt do it anymore... take the dizzy off and take the valve cover off and theres a tiny amount of water there... today after letting it sit in the hot sun hoping some of the water will evaporate we put it all back together go to crank it.. it acts like it wants to turn over but doesnt... kinda sounds out of time or like its not fireing completely.. drain the oil to look for metal.. and its not even cloudy its completely clean.. Im not sure what to do next.. we were thinking about taking the head off and seeing how bad it is... should i try seafoam? im at a loss...
