what improvements need to be made on the cable linkage as it is (asside from the drilling/cutting your floor pan)... the action seems really smooth and precise to me... I messed around with a tranny and the shifter (seperated from the tranny) at my work it seemed to be nice... I really like how much smoother and easier the selector is moved within the tranny as opposed to how hard my Z6's tranny is. You can shift through the gears of an H22 tranny easy by hand with it out of the car... not so with mine.

For 5 bills, not worth it as it really won't do much in peformance or stability. Also, those look like solid beams, and in order to make them work on the car, you'll either need to have them hang really low to clear the rear crossmember and firewall, or go straight through the firewall after you cut a big hole for it. If you go through a smooth spot like the one in the pic below, then there's almost no strain or kinks in the cable linkage when you run it. Also, with the cables (which feels no different if it's ran correctly, compared to solid mounts.... adjustments are done at the shifter assembly itself or at the tranny where the cables connect), you can run them in any way you'd like to and not have to worry about the position of the solid rods. With the pic below, the cable does not bend and go under the rear crossmember, but rather comes out above it at the bottom of the firewall so there is no extra bends or kinks in the cables.

Drive a car with a H22 motor and a car with a B series motor, the B series is much smoother.

i was going to purchase that same linkage for my h22 swap when i was first swapping it out, but i read it in some forum that its supposed to be used for race purposes only. i also considered that u need to make a few more modifiactions to your car besides the floor board to make it work. i stuck with the cable setup and followed instructions givien by poision's h22 bible.

its all a matter of opinion... my roopm mate has a h22 in his 94 accord and i have a b18c1 in my hatchwe have both driven each others cars and we both think that the b series shift linkage feels a lot smoother than the cable shifter in h22 cars.. but im sure others out there are going to say no i like h22 shifter better... its all a matter of opinion
