Default HX TPS

So at 380,076 miles the factory TPS just randomly went out in a parking lot. No big deal since this was the original Honda TB the screws are not removable. So I took of the throttle body and after a little time with a grinder removed and installed a new TPS from autozone. Now I have adjusted the voltage to 0.483 volts with the throttle plate closed and engine off. However when I open the throttle plate to WOT I only get a max of 4.300. I know at WTO I should have 4.500. The car does idle now and drives so clearly the TPS is working but I am worried that it may not read WOT since it's 0.20 volts under what it should.

car is a 1997 Civic HX D16Y5 5 speed that is mostly stock with 380,076 miles.

Current voltage closed is 0.483 target 0.483
Current voltage fully open is 4.300 target 4.500

You could move the idle side to .495-.500 volts and this will give you another tenth of a volt on the WOT side... however, the ECU is looking for only 4.200v to dictate WOT anyway, so it is actually not necessary to get to 4.500 volts.

^^ could not have said it any better.

mountainEG6, you are fine with the voltages you mention.

Thanks.

i checked it again today when cold and it is reading 0.480 closed but only 4.226 when opened by hand. I was reading a article where they adjusted the closed stop screw to set the wide open position to 4.5v and then adjusted the TPS to the new closed position.
