HX rims for 140
Is that a good price for just the rims. They are painted black with blue lip, but I got a freind with a sand blaster who will strip the paint for $10 a pop. Stupid question but its safe to sand blast the rims right?

yeah its safe to sand blast the rims, and i think 140 is a good deal on those rims, they are very light weight and imo look good, what color are you planning on painting them?

Re: (OMG naD16 lol)
i mainly want to polish them. What will they look like after their snad blasted? Im also thinking white, or white with polished lip. I have a white car.

if they come with tires, thats a decent price. but if its for the rims alone youre getting shafted a bit
yes, its perfectly fine to get them sandblasted

im not sure what color they will turn out to be, but i bet its gonna be some sore of grey, maybe light ugly grey, but i've seen em done up in bronze and they are very nice, and polished black would be pretty sick too

Keep the rim on the car, jack it up. If it's on the front, start it up and throw it in gear so it spins and see if there is any side to side play. That or throw it on the back with the ebrake released and look for the same play.
