I've tried looking everywhere I can think of, but I cannot seem to find the answer to this question.

Do any of the HX guys on here have an A/F ratio gauge on your car? If so, which wire is the signal wire on the sensor?

Now before everyone else starts going off on me, let me just point out that I've already consulted a friend of mine who has been working on Hondas for years, a number of mechanics, and my Haynes manual. I've also tried searching for my answer on here, but i could only find O2 sensor info on the Ex. As for Haynes, the color of my wires didn't even match up to the schematic.

The general answer I've gotten from all these (non Hx) sources is that you splice the white wire. However, I did this last night and my gauge doesn't work.

Any constructive input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The HX has a five wire o2 sensor, doesn't it? It doesn't work the same way a 4-wire one does. I don't think it will work with a regular air/fuel gauge.

Yea, it does have the five wire setup, but I don't get why it wouldn't work. Is there any way I can adapt it to make it work, or am I just screwed?

to anyone else who has an hx and is wants/has an o2 sensor, it does in fact work. if you want to know how, let me know. everyone else (especially those who said it couldnt be done) if you want to know how for future reference, let me know.

glad u got it working man I also have an hx and it was in fact a pain in the *** for me as well. unfortnatly at the time I did mine I didn't have the internet so I had to learn by trail and error. anyways glad u got it working!
