What motor is in the HX coupe? I did a search and got some crap. Just wondering if there was a H-series in there.

not too sure what engine it is exactly, but it is NOT an h-series.

no H series. dont know the code off the top of my head but it is a vtec-e.

So its a SOHC VTEC-e. What's the e for. Is it kinda like a smog happy VTEC system? Would that be a good swap a car?

e = economy more like wannabe vtec

So the VTEC-e is a smog happy VTEC system. The EX engine is a better engine to start with then.

It's a D16Y5 115hp VTEC

or VTEC-E

My Automatic DX walked all over my firends 5 speed, very slow
