Hwo to get an EJ8 Bar'd, already running a b16a2

Default Hwo to get an EJ8 Bar'd, already running a b16a2

Hi guys, I'm running a b16a2 motor swap, I'm currently running a p28 ecu - base map has been changed to a p30, I was wondering what more would I have to do to make BAR LEGAL? Please help it would be the best!

Run the correct ECU for the engine.

I cant just run p28 ecu with p30 basemap? Or i have to just buy a virgin p30 or a p2t.?

As I understand it you will fail instantly for the jumper harness. You should call up a station locally and talk to someone.

ecu has to match the engine or it will fail..
i bard a gsr and everything had to match..
also engine has to be the same yr or newer of your car

basically just get a p2t an just wire harness everything correctly and i'll be fine?

What do you need a wiring harness for? The wiring is already there.

doesnt matter if its a si clone
they will check to see if your engine is the same year as your car or newer.. so if u have a motor that is a 98' or less, u FAIL
and it better be USDM not! JDM or u FAIL
