Default Hunting Idle with no CEL

So I decided to get the civic out the garage only to be greeted with a hunting idle. It's showing no cels and I've checked for any vac leaks which I found none, I know the knock sensor is broken but this was turned off when the car was tuned so I can't see this suddenly being my hunting problem.

Am at a loss what to check next as i'm getting no codes

Any ideas? It's a Civic SiR

Thanks

What year Civic? If it has a FITV, clean that and also the IACV. Also try topping off and bleeding the cooling system.

It's a 93. I haven't messed with the IACV so wonder why it's playing up all of a sudden. The heating is working fine and it's not overheating.

You may have some air trapped in the cooling system that is causing the hunting idle. This would not necessarily cause an overheating or heater problem.

Also try cleaning the FITV:

Thanks for the info guys, i've been searching about and it seems to be a common problem really.

Will give them both the IACV and FITV a good clean and check for air in the coolant.
