On the hunt for OEM genuine honda fuel pump for '95 del sol
Not wanting aftermarket, but asking for input from other members for best web site for price/customer service on genuine oem honda parts. I don't mind paying a little more for the fuel pump if the site is customer friendly. I have an aftermarket fuel pump now, a Carter thats loud and gets louder the longer it pumps. Its gotta go....in the trash! Thanks.

Hondaautomotiveparts.com, however I've found the dealer near me will match their price if I bring it in to show them.

I never heard the oem honda fuel pump when it ran but had to replace it last year. Replaced it with an aftermarket Carter. After the Del Sol has been in operation for more than 15/20 minutes, the fuel pump gradually gets louder and louder. Finally, it will sound like an squeeling armature thats in desperate need of oil. It doesn't matter if the tank is full or empty. Same pitch. Same noise. The noise drives me crazy! No more aftermarket pumps. Going back to the Honda pump after this BS.

Carter....never heard of that brand before. I'm used to WALBRO or Genuine Honda.

The aftermarket pump I bought was a WALBRO pump in a CARTER box. Got it thru RockAuto. M3672 is the stock # on the box. Made in USA. Thought it would be better than a china pump. Is Walbro and Carter the same corp. now?!?!?

Majestic has always been a good dealer to get new stuff from. My dealer will also match thier prices on smaller orders.
I'd get a used one though, easy to find and cheap. I have 2 sittin in parts sols in the yard.
If you get a new one get the Del Sol VTEC one, it has a higher flow rate.

Thanks for your input on where to buy OEM Honda parts. The Majestic Honda site looks good and the prices are competitive. If anyone else has a favorite site, please chime in. Thanks!
