ok, wednesday night i was cruising down the interstate when i hear a huge popping sound.......like something hit the bottom of my car and burst....turns out (i guess) that the popping sound was from the pressure being released on my gas tank

I now have a 2 inch gash in the tank and the full tank of gas drained out in less than a minute after i pulled over.

What should i do?
Is it repairable or should i just get a new tank?

I would get a new tank if I were you. Better safe than sorry when your dealing with stuff that can make your car explode. Just go to a junkyard or something, might be super expensive from a dealer.
