HT HELP! Car will not start
hey i just swapped in my ITR motor into my 99 coupe and i tried to start the car but all it does is crank nothing more. my friend was helping me out and he said there seems to be no spark coming from the spark plug wires. whats the problem?!?

new update: i got my dizzy checked today and the dizzy is fine. i checked my spark plug wires and there is a spark. CAR STILL WONT START all it does is crank

no i didnt run it before buying it but earlier i changed the firing order to see if anything would change and flames came out of my header(my header is not bolted to my cat)

I know your problem there is a ground that goes by your thermostat housing that is going to be not put on im almost sure thats it i had the same problem if not e-mail me cobraz240@hotmail.com and i will help you fix the problem

how did you check for spark?
you might think you have spark, but you dont. if i was you take a ignition coil frm someone else's distrubutor and try it out, that is what my problem was

i checked and the thermostat ground is on. i know there is spark because i took each spark plug wire out and put a spark plug into it and cranked the car and i saw sparks

take the fuel regulator out and open the key and see if fuel comes out. It could have fuel pressure but take the regulator out to see if the fuel flows that far the reason I say is because on the fuel rail the stud were the fuel line goes might be diffrent there is 2 types check that for know get back at me and let me know
