Hrm...is there an equation... I can't find it
I'm sure this may be slightly off topic b/c it's not tech 92-00 - but never-the-less I like u bunch of guys (with the exception of a few ) so I'll ask here :-P
Is there an equation or calculator where you can plug in the vehicles weight, displacement, flywheel hp, and torque lbs and come up with a HP at the wheels? Because the D16Z6 puts out 125 and the D16Y8 puts out 128..B16a2 throws 160 according to numbers..but really only puts out like 145, 150.. The B18a and B18b put out like 142 according to numbers...but they don't throw that much at the ground...
SO yeah, any help is thx b/c this is really pissing me off :-\
Yeah, neither of those are at the wheels...., both are at the flywheel...all the honda hp numbers are from the flywheel unless it's from a dyno...it really gets ******* annoying - even VW releases the actual wheel hp in the owners manual (but advertise it as the flywheel hp)
Like when we were tuning the camaro project he had a dynojet in the back of his garage, so everything we measured was at the wheels - Only problem is he took the dynojet on his flatbed when he changed shops and I'm not to kean on driving 3.5 hours to see how much hp I'm throwin w/ a stock D16 :-P

well you did spell Syndacate rather than Syndicate...
anywho, i found a site before with an algorithm that guesstimates the proportions and amount of efficiency that weight and power can do and output, i'll PM you the link when i find it.
