turbo from the H-T classifieds. hands down best bang for your buck. i just got a complete greddy kit for 950 shipped. 950 in bolt-ons would do little to nothing on that motor

A Greddy Turbo Kit w/ a Y8 manifold will get you over 150 WHP easily.

damn thats alot for a d16y7 to gain, and to make the turbo give you that much and have the motor last would cost a lot of money

Exactly, put it in context. If he has even the slightest clue he knows that bolt ons alone, which are exactly what he listed arent going to give him 100+ whp. And hes wondering, for the limited budget he has, how he can achieve 150-160 whp with bolt ons, and if not with bolt ons, what it will take.

2+2 = 4

c'mon guys he may not have said it right but common sense tells us that that's the HP range he's looking for out of his engine after mods.

I know, I was just simply suggesting it as some bolt ons/work he can do! But I also must have forgotten that everyone on HT needs to have at least 200+ WHP or else everything you've done to your car is a complete waste.

if u don't have the money then its going to b extremly difficult to gain 150 to 160 on that. so i say save ur money and read up on this stuff. u'll prolly end up completely changing ur mind. but if that isn't what u wanna do and u wanna get that gain asap, maybe slap a y8 or a z6 head on there, now that won't gain u 150 but its a start and there not expensive at all. but bolt ons on a d series =

thanks for the advice....and i meant i wanted 150-160 HP TOTAL....only gain like 40 or 50 HP...trying to gain 150 would be foolish on my motor

Double on an all motor D to get thsat power??

I don't get it, what did I miss. I opted to go All motor with that HP goal, because going TURBO (the right way) was way too expensive!!
