HP gains w/ CTR cam, Skunk2 cams,and a V-AFC
I am looking into getting these items for my car. Rigt now i have a stock b16a with an aem cai, and an apex'i n1 catback, and soon to have a type one 4-1 header. with these mods and a CTR intake cam, Skunk2 Stage 2 cam gears w/ a V-AFC that has been dynoed and tuned. If anyone has any idea what kind of theoretical whp readings please let me know..thanks

ok i might be able to help you out on this one.
I have all of the following you mentioned in my si.
you'll get a decent amount of gain as long as you get it dyno tuned.
I would upgrade the valve trains too since you have to take the head out to install the the cams. I would also get a diff ECU to rev a bit higher, but if you want to keep the rev limit to 8000rpm i guess its better not to upgrade the valve trains.
i think i gained around 12hp in the mid range with tuning. the top end noticed a bit of gain too.
Its been about 2 years and i dont quite remember the numbers.
I would rather go Skunk stage 2 cams with upgraded valve trains if i were you.
But CTR cams are good for the money.
