How would you build this motor?
I just picked up a 92 dx, and I already have a JDM b18cR. I've got about $5000 to throw into the car. Here's what I think i'm going to do . . .
Tein Flex suspension
GSR brake conversion
CTR intake cam
AEM cai
Fujitsobo exhaust
JDM DC sports 4-1 header or hytech header
cam gears (still debating on who)
fuel upgrades then prolly gonna spend the rest on a suzuka blue metalic paint job, and li'l exterior stuff to purty up the car. What cha'll think?
or
Toda Spec C headpackage with the valvetrain. But I don't think $5000 is enough to do it right if I decide to go ***** out on the Toda Spec C's . . . still debating on what to do.

I would take the B18C apart and have it sleeved to 86mm. Sell the stock rods and pistons and get new rods and pistons through goldeneaglemfg.com
Probably cost about 1500.
Then do the rest of the car.

take off the head and send it down to portflow(or where ever you think does a good job) get it ported
higher CR pistons (or lower if your planning for turbo)
get the full set of CTR cams, why play with just the intake?
after all of this you will still have enough for a decent paint job...
