How to wire a Cruise contro switch like a toggle???
Hey can anyone tell me how to wire a cruise control switch up like a toggle switch i have a project im working on it has a green wire with grey dashes, a black wire with a yellow strip with grey dashes, black wire with grey dashes, a red wire with grey dashes and a red wire with a black line with grey dashes. What goes to what all i need is power and ground help me out guys??????

ughhhhh oem means stock so therefore an oem swith would look exactly like stock because it is.

What kind of switch is it as in what car did it come from. All the cruise does is complete a circuit. There should be 3 main wires that go to the cruise. With every cruise switch i've used, it was one main wire that was common and then when you presse the swith it complete the circuit on that side.

The easiest way to wire the switch is to have the common go to ground and then have either side of the switch go to what you want it to do. later

It's the green. My Turbo-XS duel stage boost controller is wired to it. Bet you thought you were gonna be original didn't you....just kidding. Good to know some people are like me out there and don't enjoy have gaudy toggle switches on there dash.
