how will a D15 hold up?
Im looking at the nitrous express EFI stage one single nozzle kit with the 10lb. bottle. will a D15b7 hold up to the nitrous? i searched but couldnt find anything to answer my questions. the mods will include a ice man cold air intake, skunk2 68mm throttle body, greddy sp2 exhaust, nology wires, dc sports 4-1 header. it wont be like a hardcore track car but just something to take out on the weekends and spray a couple times. its will be an all around daliy driver so i wont be spraying everyday if that helps. the motor as of now is completely stock. so in addition with the nitrous kit and the other mods i listed, is there anything i need to add for this to run right? i will also be posting in the F.I. forum to see what they say also. TIA-

Your stock D15 will have some problems at idle. It will probably stall without giving it gas. I've heard of that happening to people with a way bigger TB than what they need.

i've done it on my accord. 75 shots bone stock with an automatic transmission. you'll be fine... but eventually your transmission will be the first to go. then your engine because of the sulfur build-up that cannot be burned. correct me if i am wrong.

i wouldn't waste your money, save it for a real engine. I mean your gonna dump 500+ into a 17 second car, to make it a 16 second car... yea know what i mean ?

Seriously, despite it's the cheapest power.. It's not logical to put it on the motor you have to see little improvment.

I hate to be an *** but if you are gonna put that kind of money into the car why not spend a little bit more and do an engine swap? for what you want you could either go with a d16z6 or a d16y8 for a couple hundred more and have a faster car. I've got a 97 EX with a stock JDM d16y8 and it does pretty damn good. I can keep with most second gen rx-7's and blow away GS and RS eclipse
