Default how to up spring rates

can someone on here tell me how to take springs and increase the spring rates. ive heard of it being done and im a diy'er so i wanted to know what is involved in doing this yourself. any help is appreciated. thanks

this is not possible. Spring steel is formed in a maliable state, 1500 degrees +. If it could be reformed in a solid state, driving on them would compress them flat after about 2 miles.
