First thing....reset your ecu. If it still comes on, I have no clue what to do. Did you do anything to your car electronically? Sounds weird if it just randomly came on.

that means while ur driving, at some point its gonna deploy in ur face... just kidding. i took my air bags off the car cuz its a track car and just took out the lite bulb behind the cluster. check the code...its a start.

am i the only one that feels that if you have to ask how to work on an airbag system, you should stay away from dinking with the one or two explosives that are in your car.

Well not necessarily. My airbag light stays on now too. I didnt change ANYTHING related to the airbag. I did a turbo install and unless I magically hit something SRS related while doing it, then I am clueless as to why mine is still on. I didnt remove the dash, or change the steering wheel or worjk on anything even remotely related to SRS

thats exactly my point just unplug or take the bulb out. as for why your airbag light came on. i would have to say it was prolly caused by bumping or tampering w/ a sensor during your turbo install. just a wild stab though.

Re: (CivicEX96)
if you take out the light bulb, your aren't going to have a horn or cruise control if you have it. My cable reel went bad, and didn't think much of it and took out the bulb, when inspection time came I failed due to no horn had to spend $75 on it

Re: (doublejz)
I believe if the light comes on without the air bag being deployed, it needs to be serviced. if i remember correctly honda had it set up where the air bag was serviced every 5 years or so many klms/Miles..

Re: (Firewerks)
1 u need the scs service connector (p# 07paz-0010100) i got mine on the net for 7 bucks and change inc shipping
CHECK ALL FUSES if 1 is blown u still have to reset it the srs comp it is a different 1 then the ecu pulling the 7.5 fuse in the eng comp wont clear srs codes niether will dissconnecting the batt
take down ur lower dash under the steering wheel
locate the mes (memory erase signal) it is a 2 pin connector w a yellow taped harness on it stored in the under dash fuse box top right side of the fuse box be careful not to pull the wrong 1 out or to dosturb those other yellow wire harnesses under there
1 erase the code using the service check conn. plug it in turn on key the srs light will turn on for about 6 secs
within 4 seconds of it going out unplug the connector
the light will come back on again
within 4 secs of it coming back on plug it back in
the light will go out again remove the conn within 4 secs
it will confirm memory erase by blinking the light twice
then check if it comes back on during normal operation, hard braking and fast cornerin (thats what it says in the honda manual to test 4 bad connections)
this worked 4 me my srs light was on when i bought it i assume they had blown fuses and didnt know how to reset the srs controller
god help u if u take out that bulb and some1 gets hurt because the aitbags didnt deploy a guy around here just went to jail 4 sellin a car that he pulled out the bulb and the new driver got killed

just make it easy on yourself and get a short wire with stripped ends, thats what i used when my cable reel went bad back in the day. this stripped wire also comes in handy for reading cel's.
