Are you sure you really want to do a wire tuck? To really make the engine bay look clean, to get that "floating" engine look you will need to do ALOT more than just a wire tuck. IMO its more work than its worth unless you plan on showing it. If you really want to do it make sure you are confident in your electrical abilities and get plenty of wire and solder. Its just how it sounds. Gotta extend your connections.

For a DD it might be a bit overboard however as far as making the car hard to work on - I completely disagree. Once it's done, and done right the wiring is out-of-the-way forever.

if you just do a straigt up "wire tuck" meaning hiding the WIRES then yea thats not to hard to do and i did it on my last hatch it makes a hell of alot more room and it looks a little nicer but if your going for a "full tuck" ware you shave all the welds and cover up all the holes and hide all the break lines n everything then thats gonna be a little harder to work on when you have a problem with that componet cause then youll have to go under the dash n you gotta be carful not to spill the brake fluid on the carpet cause youll never get it out.. doing a basic wire tuck looks clean and its not to hard just get all the wires in one big "ball" if you will and run em through the fire wall someware below.. i had the heat out of my eg and i ran it through the coolant line hole for the heater core.. looked nice and it was easy
