p28 ecu is a obd1, no that itr ecu will not work, just chip the p28 best ecu to use to chip or sell it to me for cheap

Don't know bout the whole jumper harness thing, but I doubt you'll pass with a P28 unless its programmed like a stock P73

if you want to run a 96-98 ecu on your car, you'll need a obd2b-obd2a conversion harness.

p28s are NOT only obd1, but it's hard to find one that's obd2, so just assume it's obd1, you can tell by looking at the plugs.

Anyway, to the OP

PICS OF WHAT ECU IT IS....

From top to bottom...

1. OBD IIb ECU
2. OBD II ECU
3. OBD I ECU
4. OBD 0 (JDM PR3 and PWO)

So if you have a '00 civic and you want to run an obd1 ecu, you need a obd2B to obd1 jumper harness.
