how to tighten crank pulley bolt on automatic SOHC?
it says to torque the bolt to 134 ft/lb. I got on it some w/ an impact wrench but I was gonna check it with a torque wrench to see how tight i got it. I can not figure out how to keep the pulley from turning when I am checking it w/ the torque wrench. I have tried it w/ the tranny in P and D, and tried sticking something in the cam gear to keep it from turning but changed my mind on that because it probably was not meant to have 134 ft/lb of pressure on it. How can I keep the crankshaft from moving on an auto?
thanks
