How to test radiator fan with battery?
heya, my radiator fan doens't come on at all. I tried jumping it with a paper clip through the sensor by the intake and it doens't come on. I checked most fuses, but i'd rather just see if the fan works so i can order one if i need one. So how do i test the fan without cutting the wires that plug into the sensor so i can hook it up to a battery? what voltage battery do i need? any reccomendations? sorry im a eletrical noooob Thanks!
PS: I search! but no one explains how to test it with a battery, again electrical noob

you should be able to test it with a paper clip through the sensor when you stick a paper clip in it if your fan dosnt come on your fan is garbage....if it does come on it just your sensor

well not exactly true. if a fuse is bad it a relay it shouldn't turn on either. Imt rynig to gfind out if it just works without any relays switches etc, just power.
