I've had three Spoon CF wings for my EK. Everything Emerika states is correct. But here's my question: if you can't tell the difference, why spend the extra money on a real one? When I bought my first one, there were no copies available (mid 99), the resin started to dull/discolor so I sold it. I bought another one in early 2001, there was only one copy available then and it looked like poop. Then my car got stolen and stripped. I bought my third one used from a friend. If I had to buy another one now, I'd definitely get a fake one. The prices can't be beat and quality is on par with the real ones.

I got a fake one and the quality is shat. It doesn't fit right at all. If I knew it was going to fit perfect, I'd get the spoon one over a faky.

Edit, if I knew the faky would fit perfect, I'd ge that one over the real thing

The real Spoon wings are hollow and open, very similar to the early Aerospeed style CF duckbills (but better/tighter weave). The new aftermarket wings are all 1-piece.... clean IMO but it doesn't stick up as high, and it's just not an OG Spoon wing .
