How to tell if iab is working
okay guys i have searched high and low for this but havent found
that much info so i was jus wondering if any one know how to tell if my iab is working now i have a 96 civic dx w/ jdm gsr and jdm ecu also i have no check engine light thank yall in advance

locate the IAB vacuum diaphragm on the driver's side of the intake manifold. You should be able to open and close them with your fingers to make sure it's moving correctly.
Start the car and warm it up to operating temperature. Have someone blip the throttle past 6K rpms a few times. You should see the mechanism coming out of the bottom of the diaphragm open and close as it passes about 5600rpm.

it's a big round thing on the driver's side of the intake manifold. It should have a vacuum hose coming out the top of it.
