take off your front bumper, and remove the four bolts holding it on to the frame. there are two on each side.

ehh... safe shmafe. i took mine off so my stock fogs would fit... does that make sense? i'm gonna grind some off and put it back on when I get a chance..

Easy, just run into another car. It worked for me, I had to pick mine up out of the middle of the street
To anybody wanting to remove it to save weight
I remeber picking it up off the street and thinking "This dosn't weigh chit, why would somebody want to take it off *shakes head*" It seriously dosn't weigh much at all, worth leaving on the car.

yea , its doesnt weigh much but I did face thta this weekned for a convertion and let me just say I didnt take it off because its welded to the car. I think youll need to grind it off IMO. Good Luck!

i know it isnt really any of my business, but why are you going to take it off???? if you plan on cutting it for any reason, yes it willl work but you need to be careful on what your cutting. the support really doesnt weigh anything, but it keeps chit in tact when it comes to an accident. those are my 2 cents.
