how to take off fender liner screws??
Hi, im trying to install jdm sidemarker on my 96 civic, the only problem i have so far is to take off the fender liner so i can do the wiring. I've cut the hole on fender successfully, but i am having difficulty removing the fender liner screws. just wonder how to take them off? or is there another way to do the wiring? thanks.

Re: how to take off fender liner screws?? (Ksoulja)
Prepare to buy some new ones cause I break almost all of them every time i take it off. There is a tool that body shops use which gets em out, but usually they become brittle and break when forced with a flathead

Same here-
I changed a fender on my civic yesterday, and the fasteners are the type you pry the middle up. They are a bit smaller than the type on the grill.
One of mine broke, and on all but one of the others I had to pry them out entirely, then take them apart afterwards.

You could do either, but personally i'm very partial to soldering and putting shrink tubing over the top, do it right once and never look at it again.
