How to take off baked spark plug grommet???
How do I take off a baked sprak plug grommet?
I was trying to change them out, but it looks like its baked on there and it won't come out. And, it's pretty much brittle that I can't just yank and pull it out as it'll just rip.
The car is '92 Si. Looks like it's the original rummber spark plug grommet in there.
Any suggestions? I was thinking about using a flame torch.

Re: How to take off baked spark plug grommet??? (Cosworth)
I know the first time I did this I made a huge ordeal out of it and it ended up being really easy.
I think you just need some pliers and try to pull it out.
Try to get ahold of the thick center of it, sometimes you can try to pull on it and just end up yanking rubber off.

I have nothing to hold on to at this point. And, I don't want to spend a day putting a thin screw driver to dig it out.
