How are smog laws up in Washington?
I have an EG with a jdm b16a2... it passed smog with flying colors in california because the guy who did it was too dumb to notice it was a swap and it passed the sniffer just fine, he just saw the AEM intake and was like "whoop intak... er, carb sticker, nevermind".
I'm moving up to washington and will have to register my car up there (and smog it again?)
I was just wondering how strict they are compared to california...

^I hate thieves. Your username and your last question just don't mix.
Anyways... I think you'll have no problems if you can pass Cali's smog. They're not as strict as down there and I hope it doesn't become like Cali. I'm 99% sure you'll have no problem at all.

maybe i'm the only one that noticed this but you have a swap. that's pretty crazy that you got by with a swap in cali...as for washington, not sure if it would be legal to have that swap in the car..then again, you can just search for another dumb smog tech.

i really do not understand the purpose of engine swaps being illegal.
i have my smog papers here and it passed with FLYINNNNNNG colors on the dyno.
max HC was 13 (max 130), and max CO% didnt EVEN REGISTER (well.. 0.03 @ 15mph, and 0.00 @ 25mph).

You should be fine in washington, some cities you don't even have to get tested, I just moved out of washington like a month ago. You're car will pass fine.

according to the state ref, i wasn't allowed to put my b20 into my integra because it is an engine for a "light truck".

Smog checks are done by county. I'm in Kitsap county and have never had to smog my car. It also depends on your zip code that how they factor if you need to smog your car or not.

oh if you want to meet up with people, check team-integra.net under the washington section (you have to be a member) but they usually meet up once a month or so and even though most of them drive tegs, they are all a bunch of good guys.
