yes you can have a rpm activated switch but not just buy connecting it to your tach and by the way this is

I assume you are talking about VTEC, and I don't know why you want to make it work, if you have it, it should already be working in the first place.

Eh.. it's VTEC man.. You just made an unforgivable sin in the eyes of the honda-tech community..

Vtec engages when it does because that is what is best for stock engines. Beleive it or not Honda knows what they are doing, so leave the Vtec where it is unless you have changed your head/bottom end..

I will refrain from making posts about you using the brand name VTECH, since everyone else has said it above.

I love it when some n00b think engaging VTEC at 500 rpms lower will make his car a top fuel dragster.

For the record, if VTEC engages too low, you bog, thus making your car slower. Leave VTEC where it is.

Hey my friend hooked his vetech up to his radio on/off button. When he wants vtech he just holds the button down. Before that mod he ran a 15.2 and after he ran like something sick... 13.4. And this was on a 4 door EX with stock internals. Of course he had bolt-ons like front mount intake, Chriaka headers, and a Pace Setter exhaust with dual custom test pipes.
