Remove the bumper. Then it's a matter of 4 bolts each side. It says plug and play.

JDM= Japanese Domestic Market
Those "JDM" Headlights Are fakes and have nothing to do with japan they said it so people like you who dont search around first buy them
if you want a "JDM" headlight you use your stock headlight and put a "city light" in it and black out the housings for the true but fake "JDM"
Or Go somewhere like PasswordJDM.com And buy yourself a real pair of "JDM" headlights eventhough your new your going to most likely get flamed for your posts so put your suit onj and good luck

I'll help you out because you're new...

1. Remove corner lights (blinkers)
2. There's like...6 large screws that hold the front bumper to the radiator support...undo those.
3. Remove the bolts that hold the headlights in place (you should be able to worm the headlights out without removing the whole bumper (I was able to on my '94 Civic 3 door).
4. Put new lights in...put everything back.

They're not good, I'll tell you that much.

If you like them then that's all that counts, but to most people (especially on Honda-Tech), these are VERY outdated and the whole JDM craze is the new fad...and most people hate eBay products.

they were an ok price and they were the only 'smoked' headlights that i could find for around 100 bucks.

what makes them 'not good' ?

They don't offer any headlights for 4-doors...but I found these on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

People say that eBay parts are cheap ****, which a majority of the stuff that's for sale on there is, but I got ^those headlights^ a couple months back for my hatchback and have had no problem with them AT ALL...they bolted in perfectly and no leaks.

If you want to be "accepted" on this website then use the search option in the top right hand corner and search for cars that are similar to your make/model...everybody's car looks similar, which is sad but true, but most of the people on here like the same stuff.

EDIT: what they look like installed

I think I will give these projectors a shot...on all of these car forums everyone mods the same way.

I noticed this a lot on the VW forums (I also have a jetta 02 1.8t).

I will see how these halo's go otherwise I will get the ones you linked me too, thanks for the helpful tips!

btw : yours say 'JDM' as well...so did my ebay listing....aren't yours 'fake' then ?

EDIT : they look pretty dang good ... how do they shine at night?

I'm a faker for sho

I didn't feel like spending a **** load of money on the real deal and the whole "smoked" thing sets my car off IMO (smoked headlights, carbon fiber spoiler, dark tint, gunmetal wheels)...so I went the route that I wanted to go.

City/Parking lights:

Headlights...with city/parking lights

I haven't gotten around to taking any night pictures of my car...yet

hey, those things are not bad at all.

props for going out of the ordinary , since these car forums everyone seems to follow everyone elses 'mods ' :D

quick question...will these hookups be the same? or will I have to do some splicing to get them to work correctly.

"All wiring for the headlights was preassembled for essential plug & play application!

These lights are made by an OE approved and ISO certified manufacturer with the quality meet or exceed all OE standards.

These headlights are made as an OE direct replacement with no modification needed for installation."

It says plug and play...so I can only assume that that's what it is.

Good luck with 'em
