how to remove stock cluster from 97 civic hatchback and how to wire in another cluster that shows rp
i wanted to know if anybody could give me instructions or link me to a site that tells me how remove my stock cluster from my 97 civic hatchback and instructions to put on and wire another cluster that contains a tach. thank you for you time

its really easy. unscrew the bezel around the cluster, and pull staight out. it will pop right out.
you will see 4 screws around the cluster, unscrew them and the cluster should pull out. undo the clips on the back, i think there are 2 of them.
installation is the reverse of removal.
all you need fot RPMs is a cluster out of a 96-00 civic EX

take out the black bezel (screws and clips), remove and unplug the cluster.
the car should already have harnesses, just hook them up. the tach was onlyb in the higher models but the harnesses are the same. worked for me in a 94 dxcoupe with an ex cluster, it shouldn't be any different in 96
