Default How to remove this sensor

I need to replace this sensor on my engine, It's on the back of the intake manifold. It has some weird type of screws I can't figure out how to take off. Anyone know how?

That's your throttle position sensor. Not sure what you mean by 'weird screws', aren't they just small bolts?

I think they are sort of like screws without a place to put the screw driver tip (as in no phillips or flat head), is this right? I've heard of this, although mine has screws (IDK why)

maybe file a notch in them and use a flat tip, I don't really know

you can actually remove them without modifying them in any way...

just grab around the edges with pliers/vice grips and they will just unscrew

just curious what are your replacing it with? becuase to buy a new oem one you need to buy the whole throttle body

omni makes aftermarket TPS' and a dremel will do fine. mine didn't come out so easy to i had to cut the whole head of the screw off, remove tps and use vice grips on the rest of the screw thats there.
