I have a 95 Civic Coupe and I'm about to do my own paint job in my friends garage. I want to remove as much as I can from the car to keep things as neat as possible. Does anyone know how to remove the trim from around the windshield, back and side windows? Are there clips or is it just held in with a lip. I would rather not break anything by just pulling them off. I also dont want to have problems getting them back on. I know on my CB7 there were clips that were terrible to reinstall.

I did a search but I didnt find any clear cut answers. (I'm a newb to this forum but not to the search button)

Can you be a little more specific?

If you're talking about the windshield moldings, they just clip in, but I'm going to tell you upfront that as old as your car is, it's almost guaranteed they will break when you remove it.

If you're talking about the door moulding, it has a screw underneath the weatherstripping, and once you remove that you just pull it out. Pretty simple.

I should have been more specific.. I'm talking about the black rubber that surrounds the the front, back and side windows. Not the weather stripping that you close the door on.. but the rubber that you would need to remove if you were to remove the window.
