How to Remove the "H" logo in the hood?
Howdy...Do you guys know how to best remove the "H" logo on the hood? I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.
And what did you do to cover the 2 holes? did you repaint the whole hood?
Tnx

credit card. most people don't remove it b/c it leaves two holes. the only way to get "rid" of them is to shave them (bring car to body shop, weld holes closed, repaint)

yea, dental floss is easiest in my opinion. also, get some goo gone from pep boys and clean the adhesive it leaves behind.

The front emblem on the hood is NOT glued on. It is riveted on. When you pop it off, it leaves 2 holes behind. Those holes either need to be bondoed in or welded in and repainted.

you won't be able to get a good look with bondo and touch up paint , I work in a body shop trust me.

quickie ways always turn out shitty, if you want yoiur car looking clean do it right the first time. and if your not familiar on how to do it, maybe you shouldnt do it at all your first time and have someone else who knows how to do a clean job help you so your not dissapointed with the results

i hear that oem has dimples where the H should and certifit parts have the holes. not 100% sure tho.
