Everyone and their dog will have a different opinion for you.
Boost reliability is the most argued thing about civics imo.
Just build it right, don't use cheap crap, and tune it properly. That won't guarantee reliability as there are way to many factors that come into play.

If you want reliable don't boost it at all, otherwise, boost it and have a blast with it as long as you can.

If your going to boost a stock B16 don't boost more than 7-8 psi on a stock motor. Make sure you get it tuned very good. If you want to boost like 10-15psi then you'll need to lower the compression with some Dome turbo pistons, ARP Headstuds, Metal Head Gasket, Bigger Intake Mani, Bigger Injectors, Adjustable FPR, Walboro 255lph Fuel Pump, ect. If you want to make more than 330-350whp I would suggest a sleeved block. A good tune is key for a reliable boosted car. Throw down a good $500 just to get it tuned by someone that know's what they are doing.

I'm going to go ahead and stop this while you're still ahead. If you want real answers, go to the Forced Induction forum and ask specific questions. All you're going to get in this forum is hear-say and misinformation.
